
Drew Blythe Barrymore, born on February 22, 1975, is an American actor, director, and producer. She hosts a talk show, hosts as well as an author. She is part of the Barrymore actor family and has won numerous awards and nominations including a Golden Globe Award, a Screen Actors Guild Award and the Screen Actors Guild Award. She was also nominated for seven Emmy Awards and a British Academy Film Award. In 2004, she received a star in the Hollywood Walk of Fame. She was a well-known kid actor for her part in E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial. After a turbulent early life filled with drug and alcohol abuse, she wrote Little Girl Lost, an autobiography. She was a part of a string of successful films in the 1990s and 2000s, which included Charlie's Angels, Never Been Kissed, Poison Ivy, Boys on the Side, Mad Love, Batman Forever, Scream and Ever After. Barrymore and Adam Sandler starred in the films The Wedding Singer 50 First Dates as well as Blended. Her other films include Firestarter, Donnie Darko, Riding in Cars with Boys, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind, Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle, Fever Pitch, Music and Lyrics, Going the Distance, Big Miracle, and Miss You Already. She was also in her first directorial film Whip It. Grey Gardens won her a Screen Actors Guild Award as and a Golden Globe Award. She is currently the host of The Drew Barrymore Show, her talk show syndicated by a network.
